Meditation & Yoga Retreats in Cambodia

Cambodia's retreat scene is small but growing, anchored by Theravada Buddhist monasteries around Siem Reap (near Angkor Wat) and Phnom Penh. Vipassana courses in the Mahasi tradition run periodically at Wat Lanka and partner sites. Some Western-facing centers near Angkor combine meditation with temple-archaeology context. Kampot and the southern coast host smaller yoga retreats. The country's 2024–2025 retreat infrastructure is less developed than Thailand or Vietnam, but costs are notably lower. Khmer is the working language; English is widely spoken at international retreat centers. The cool dry season (November–February) is the comfortable retreat window. Most Western passports get e-visa or visa-on-arrival. Buddhist retreats are typically donation-based; paid yoga weeks run $400–$1,000.
