Armenia's small retreat scene takes advantage of dramatic mountain landscapes and an ancient Christian monastic heritage. Tatev, Noravank, Geghard, and other working monasteries accept respectful pilgrim-style visits. A few yoga retreats run in the Lori and Syunik regions. Armenian, Russian, and English are used at international-facing centers. Best seasons run May–October. Most Western passports get 180 days visa-free entry. Cost: $400–$1,200 for a week.
